We use New Zealand produced butter combined with the delicate soft texture of Murray River Salt, both being locally sourced products... we believe this is the ultimate Australian homage to the original Caramel au Beurre Sale.
Henri Le Roux developed the original Salted Butter Caramel in the late 70s using locally sourced butter which at the time was known for it's salt-flaked composition. Today, we know it as one of the most simple but tempting of pleasures.
